Authorities in Iberia Parish and LA State Police are looking for Paul Stanley Collins Jr. who is accused of shooting to death his estranged wife - the mother of his two children.

39-year-old James Pledger Jr. shot in the stomach at a trailer park
in Gray. Few other details are known as yet.

GM makes it official--they're shutting down production for up to 9 weeks at 13 of their 20 North American assembly plants. At the Shreveport facility, which makes Colorado and Canyon pickups and the Hummer H3T truck, the shutdown is scheduled for 6 weeks, beginning June 15th and running through July 27th.
