Education-Reform Advocacy Group Believes Technology Is The Answer To Decreasing The Drop Out Rate
An education-reform advocacy group says too many Louisiana children are dropping out of school, and radical thinking may be needed to deal with the problem. Rozeman says he believes the answer lies in technology. Deputy Back At Work
A St. Landry Parish sheriff's deputy has been cleared of a police brutality charge. Sheriff Bobby Guidroz says Deputy William D. McCauley Jr. may still be charged with malfeasance when he worked as a Eunice police officer, but Guidroz determined through his own investigation that McCauley is innocent. In December, the sheriff put him and two other then-Eunice officers on unpaid leave after their arrests. McCauley's charges stem from a man claiming the deputy severely beat him.
