Man faces year in jail for LSU "Trash talk" An East Baton Rouge Parish man faces a possible year in jail, for allegedly taking "trash talk" over the LSU-Georgia game too far. Police arrested the 48-year-old man, on a complaint from a co-worker who says Parent hung a noose in his office after LSU lost to Georgia. The co-worker is a Bulldogs fan. He says the symbolism of the noose upsets him. The trash-talker laughed off his anger over the noose, so the police were called. In Louisiana, it's now a felony to display a noose for the purpose of intimidating someone. By the way, Halloween displays of nooses are exempt. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 2:43 PM
