Two Men Arrested For Ripping Off Books From LSU Bookstore
Whatever their reason, two men are accused of grabbing a set of books Wednesday afternoon from the LSU Co-Op Bookstore in Baton Rouge, but they didn't get far. It seems the store owner is a former Louisiana State trooper and gave chase. But when Chris Prescott confronted the pair in the parking lot, 29-year-old Michael Barback struck him with his vehicle as he fled. Prescott was not injured and notified the State Police post of what had happened. Barback and 24-year-old Nicholas Kalivoda were arrested a short time later and booked for aggravated battery and theft of goods. |
