 New Record For Gas

It's another record setting day for gas prices in Louisiana. Triple-A reports the statewide average price of regular hit four-dollars a gallon today, a new record high. The price is a dollar-nine higher than a year ago and eleven-cents lower than the current nationwide average. Also in Louisiana, diesel is at a new record high of just over four-74 a gallon, compared to two-83 a year ago. Checking some of the metro areas, regular is averaging three-98 in Baton Rouge, four-dollars-two-cents in Lafayette and just a hair below four-dollars in New Orleans.
