 BESE Member Asked to Resign Minimize

One of Governor Jindal's appointees to the state Board of Elementary
and Secondary Education says the Jindal administration has asked her
to resign. Tammie McDaniel of Oak Ridge tells the Baton Rouge
Advocate that she hasn't decided whether she'll step down from BESE.
It's unclear what triggered the resignation request. Jindal
administration officials have not commented so far.
