Good news for Lafourche Parish residents who love their July 4th
fireworks; the parish will not issue a drought-triggered ban on
pyrotechnics for this weekend. Parish officials say some heavy rains
Monday made a big difference, and aren't as worried about potential
wildfire hazard. 59 parishes in Louisiana allow individual purchase
and use of fireworks. |
