New Orleans Airport Getting Major Makeover

(New Orleans, LA) -- Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport's modernization and makeover is underway. Airport spokeswoman Michelle Wilcut says this project will create thousands of new construction jobs in the area. The most expensive project to be undertaken will be a 114-million dollar rental-car facility with 18-hundred parking spaces that should be finished by 2012. Wilcut says some of the exterior renovations are already completed. She says the exterior fixes is really brightening things up.
