Interest in attending the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama is high--in fact, Napoleonville Congressman Charlie Melancon says he's heard a million-and-a-half spectators are expected for the January 20th event. Melancon says his office has been swamped with ticket requests. Melancon says those intested in being in the nation's capital on Inauguration Day should go ahead and make the trip--even though they may not have tickets. he says TV screens will be broadcasting the inauguration all over Washington. |
