Ray Nagin plans to vote for Congressman Bill Jefferson for re-election

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin says he plans to vote for Congressman Bill Jefferson for re-election, however, he says it's not an endorsement. Nagin says it comes down to who has more experience. Jefferson is under federal indictment on corruption and bribery charges. His opponent is Democrat Helena Moreno, a former New Orleans TV news anchor and reporter, who's never held public office before. |
