Tarpon Rodeo Begins Today
|

|
Officials in Grand Isle today kick off what they say is oldest competitive fishing tournament in the country. The 87th annual Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo runs through Saturday. The event is vital for the tourism industry on the island. It includes a variety of events and entertainment. Grand Isle is Louisiana's only inhabited barrier island.
