The average price of a gallon of gasoline continues to fall across Louisiana. Triple-A says regular is down another penny from Wednesday to three-95 a gallon, about where it was a month ago. But, the price of the fuel is a dollar-eleven higher than a year ago, a fact that is still making it rough on the pocketbooks of motorists. Today in Baton Rouge regular is averaging three-93 a gallon, three-98 in Lafayette and three-94 in New Orleans. The nationwide average remains above four-dollars a gallon, but has fallen to four-dollars-two-cents, nine cents lower than last week's record high of four-eleven.
