Friday, the state House amended the bill that would raise state legislators' pay. The amendment decreases the Seante proposed $50,000 to $37,500. Their current pay is $16,800, and the amendment will be heard on the Senate floor, Monday. The amendment cleared the house on a 56 to 45 vote.
