A stolen car was recovered, and the driver arrested. Lafayette Police say officers saw the car at Willow and the Thruway and when they attempted to stop the car, the driver led police on a short pursuit. The car was stopped after colliding with a police cruiser at the intersection of Carlton and Sunset streets. 18 yearold Labrente Noel was charged with a host of charges including aggravated flight, possesion of marijuana and hit and run.
