Fuel Prices Continue Decline
|

(Lafayette, LA) -- The price at the gas pump continues to fall. Triple-A reports that the average price for self-serve regular fell two-tenths of a cent overnight, to two-51-point-8 per gallon. That's about two-and-a-half cents below the average of a week ago and about nine cents cheaper than at this time last month. Statewide, the average for regular is two-54-point-3 per gallon. |

One Dead In Early Morning Shooting
Baton Rouge police report that officers responded to a shooting about 3:30 Thursday morning in the 1500 block of North Marque Ann Drive where they found a black male lying in a parking lot who had been shot.
