(Abbeville, LA) -- Abbeville police are still trying to determine who's responsible for gunshots that were fired last week at the home of a Vermilion Parish sheriff's deputy. Chief Rick Coleman says it appears that the shots were fired by someone who drove by the residence Wednesday night. Coleman says there were people in the home as the shooting took place, but no one was injured. The deputy is a member of the department's narcotics task force.
