(New Orleans, LA) -- As jubilant fans shouted in the streets of New Orleans, Louisiana Senator David Vitter talked about the meaning of the New Orleans Saints' Super Bowl win. Vitter described the Saints' triumph as close to a spiritual revival for the state. Vitter said residents of the Big Easy still are enduring hardships after Hurricane Katrina devastated the city, but stated the Saints' victory over the Indianapolis Colts gives hope to those who wonder if the New Orleans region can stage a comeback.
