Overnight, around 3:30...a thief who took off on a scooter didn't get far before Lafayette police caught up with him. Walmart employees at the Pinhook location saw the man trying to ride away and told police he took off south on Verot School Road. Corporal Paul Mouton says officers found 19-year-old Diego Ricardo loading the scooter into a trailer in the parking lot of South Point Apartments. |
