Lafayette Police are working to identify a man who broke into several stores in the Mall of Acadiana on the 23rd of this month. Corporal Paul Mouton says the Friday night break-ins happend between 9 and 10 o'clock, and the man took small amounts of cash from registers at "The Buckle," "Claires," "Lane Bryant," "New York and Company." Mouton says the burglar manipulated the front entrance roll down doors. He attempted to break into "Eddie Bauer," "The Limited" and Bath and Body Works," but failed. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
