A bill ordering all commercial big rigs to "keep right" on multi-lane highways and Interstates has cleared the state Senate, and heads for the House. Senator Dale Erdey's bill lets big rigs roll in the left lane ONLY if a left turn or left lane exit is coming up. On roads with three or more lanes, trucks could use either of the two right-most lanes. Under the bill trucks could also use the left lane to pass slower-moving traffic, but then must get back over.
