Jindal Says He and McCain Haven't Talked About It

Governor Bobby Jindal says he and his wife Supriya had a wonderful weekend at Senator John McCain's Arizona ranch, but there was no talk at all about running mates. Jindal says he did do some lobbying however--not to be the V-P candidate, but for Louisiana. The majority of the conservative media outlets--from Rush Limbaugh to bloggers--continue to tout Jindal as the perfect running mate for McCain Jindal says he'll help McCain get elected president, but doubts he'll be doing so on the Republican ticket. Jindal still says he doubts McCain will ask him to be a running mate as they have never spoken together about it. |
