 Watching Dogfighting Is Under The Legislative Eye

Legislation that would make it a felony to attend a dogfight is heading to the governor's desk. The senate has given final legislative approval to the proposed law. Currently only a misdemeanor if you are caught as a spectator at an organized dogfight. The governor is expected to sign the legislation into law. It carries a penalty of one to ten years in prison and a $1,000 to $25,000 fine.
