This evening, the Lafayette Parish School Board will discuss plans to upgrade various facilities at district schools, including new bids submitted for renovation of parking areas at Lafayette High School. Officials say the condition of the parking lot and concerns over parking in fire zones have prompted the renovation plans. Also up for discussion will be plans to renovate classrooms at four parish schools. Those renovations would take place next summer if approved by the school board.
