Governor Jindal Signs Drunk Driving Bills
|
|
|

Governor Bobby Jindal signs bills into law that will crack down on
drinking and driving in Louisiana. One bill will toughen the penalty
for refusing to take a breathlyzer test when pulled over by
police.
Up 'til now, state law only demanded a 6-month license suspension
for refusing to take the blood alcohol level test. Another bill the
governor has signed into law seeks to severely punish those that
lose their license for drunk driving and continue to drive anyway. |
