Murder Suspect Arrested In Houston

(Houston, TX) -- A man wanted in the shooting death of an employee at a Lafayette convenience store has been arrested in Texas. U.S. Marshals and local law enforcement arrested 59-year-old James Francis Wednesday at a motel in Houston. Authorities acted on a tip that was phoned in after Francis was shown on Fox TV's "America's Most Wanted." Francis is accused of fatally shooting 25-year-old Quaher Abualoff at Food World on South Pierce Street on August 31st of last year. Francis' brother, Michael Joseph Francis, was previously arrested as a principal to second-degree murder. |
