Gas Prices Show Slight Rise

(Lafayette, LA) -- The string of declining gasoline prices in Lafayette has been broken. Triple-A says the average for self-serve regular has risen by about a half-cent since Tuesday, to two-55-point-four per gallon. That's 15 cents higher than this time last month, but still far below the average of nearly four-dollars a year ago. Statewide, regular currently averages two-dollars and 54-cents a gallon.
