Congressman Charles Boustany has announced the downtown Lafayette multi-modal transportation center will get a boost from the federal government. The center, which will be located in Postal Square, will get about $2 million dollars in federal grant money to help expedite the project. The center will be designed to link passenger bus and rail service in Lafayette.
