 Baskin Robbins Robbery

Iberia deputies are looking for the suspect who robbed the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Store on East Main Street yesterday.  Police say a black male wearing a read shirt and a white cap with ECHO on it entered the store and ordered ice cream. When the clerk rang up the sale the suspect produced a knife and demanded the money from the register.  He grabbed some money and fled.  The suspect dropped the knife when he was leaving and it was recovered by investigators.  He is described as a black male, 5'9", stocky build, possibly in his mid 30s with a light beard.  Anyone who has any information about this case can call the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office at 369-3711.
