It's been another week of steadily increasing gas prices across Louisiana. Triple-A reports today that the statewide average for a gallon of regular is teetering at nearly three-dollars-10-cents. That's 80-cents higher than a year ago and a new record average high for the price of the fuel in our state. A check of some of the metro areas finds regular averaging three-dollars-eight-cents in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, three-oh-nine in New Orleans and three-10 in Lafayette.
