A Ville Platte man has been named to the Board of Tax Appeals again. The Board is charged with regulating all matters relating to appeals for the determining assessments or for determining overpayments, the waiver of penalties and claims against the state. The board has three members appointed by the governor and attorney Gary Ortego has served since 2004. |
