Patel Convicted on Most Counts

A federal jury has returned guilty verdicts in 51 of 91 fraud counts
against a Lafayette cardiologist. Dr. Mehmood Patel was acquitted on
the remaining 40 charges. His defense attorney, Mike Small, says
they will appeal the convictions.
