More Parking Coming To U-L Lafayette
|

|
Four-hundred new parking spaces will become available on the UL campus today with the opening of a parking garage at the corner of Saint Mary and Taft streets. Construction was completed in two years, a period marked by delays because of rising construction costs. The six-million-dollar facility is four stories, and features 40 monitored security cameras and 13 telephones with direct connections to University Police. It will cost a dollar per hour to park in the garage, and no overnight parking will be allowed.
