New Choice For Recovery Efforts

President Bush has selected a retired Marine Corps general to serve as the new coordinator for the Gulf Coast's recovery from the 2005 hurricanes. Major General Doug O'Dell was the commanding general of the 4th Marine Division and was headquartered in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit. He replaces retiring Gulf Coast Recovery Czar Don Powell.
