LA First Lady Supriya Jindal to star in ads aimed at getting parents to have their children vaccinated

Louisiana's First Lady Supriya Jindal will star in TV and radio ads aimed at getting more parents to have their children vaccinated against diseases like polio, measles, diptheria, whooping cough, and more.
Mrs. Jindal says currently only 73-percent of kids under 3 are being immunized. The goal of the "Shots for Tots" program would be to get 90 percent of the state's kids up to date with their shots. Immunizations vacinate kids against 13 potentially dangerous diseases. They're generally given to kids between 19 and 34 months of age.
