 Learn Bystander CPR

This weekend you can learn to be a heart starter or just brush up on your skills. The annual Be a Heart Starter Event returns to the Cajundome this Saturday for three sessions to give people the skills they need to help out in an emergency when someone stops breathing. Free Bystander C-P-R will be taught to residents in Acadiana this Saturday at 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It is organized by the Acadiana medical community and supported by more than 300 volunteers. You can visit heartstarter.org to register.
