Person Who Stole Card Is Being Sought

A woman in a downtown bar had her credit card stolen, and then it was used at an A-T-M on Jefferson Street that same night in February. Lafayette Police say over 100 dollars worth of unauthorized charges were placed on the bank account, and police say they continue to search for the suspect, and they do have a photograph while the person was trying to use the card. They want to question that person for Theft and Unauthorized Use on an Access Card. Anyone with information about the February 24th incident is being urged to call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
