The Lafayette Police Department and Sheriff's Office will team up for another O-W-I check point within the corporate limits of Lafayette this week. The check point will start at 9 p.m. on Thursday evening and run through 3 a.m. Friday morning. Police will be targeting impaired drivers under the influence of alcohol or other dangerous substance. Police remind citizens they respond with zero tolerance to driving under the influence and remind you to always designate a driver.
