Police say a Lafayette man is in critical condition after his motorcycle was struck by a car in the 800 block of Main Street in Broussard. Authorities say the accident happened around 6 a.m. Monday when a car driven by 34-year-old James Simon of New Iberia pulled in front of the motorcycle ridden by 48-year-old David Denning.
