School Board Audit Is Good
|

|
A recently released audit gives the Lafayette Parish School District high marks in how it manages its finances. Accounting firm Kolder, Champagne, Slaven & Company says the district, which has had a history of operating in the red, currently has a general fund operating income of five-point-nine-million-dollars. School Board President Carl Lacombe says the new crop of board members that took office last year has followed through on its commitment to keep the district's financial house in order.
