The Saint Martinville City Council has voted not to enact a ban on wearing so-called "saggy pants" in public, citing constitutional concerns. Instead, the city will try to persuade people from not wearing their pants to where they sag below the waist and expose undergarments. City officials plan on encouraging businesses to institute policies that bar "saggy pants" wearers from entering, similar to "no shirt, no shoes" policies.
