Not much information was given other than to report that a young man being sought in our area was found safe and sound by his family. Last week we reported on missing 21 year-old Marcus Heaton who had come to Lafayette area from Alabama to apply for a job with an oil company. His family said they had not heard from him since January 28th. Now police says family member have contacted them to report they have heard from Heaton, and that the man is now back in his home state of Alabama. The whereabouts of the man while he was out of contact were not released.
