Murder Conviction Overturned

|
A man serving life in prison after being convicted in a 1997 murder may soon be out on bail after his conviction was overturned. Twenty-seven-year-old Scott Allen Cooper is eligible to be released on 125-thousand-dollars bail while prosecutors determine whether he should be tried for a second time. Cooper was convicted in 2002 for second-degree murder in connection with the death of 26-year-old Earl Zenon. The alleged trigger man, Vince Moore, is serving a 60-year sentence after pleading guilty to reduced charges of manslaughter and armed robbery |
