Governor Jindal visited Terrebonne General Hospital this afternoon before his scheduled speech to the Houma Chamber of Commerce to check on workers being evaluated there.

Democrat Don Cazayoux sees access to affordable health care coverage as one of the major issues on the table. He advocates make the same health care plan that covers members of Congress available to the country's citizens. Independent Ashley Casey says there are many issues on the federal agenda that impact Louisiana--not the least of which is continued support for hurricane recovery.

An alleged stalker is behind bars in Caddo Parish, after the object of his obsession found him hiding in her closet, wielding a knife. Deputies say 29-year-old Tobias E. Ward is charged with burglary and stalking. Ward was arrested two weeks ago for breaking into the same woman's home. The woman says Ward became obsessed with her after they dated once, and he now calls her at home and at work frequently.
