Investigators May Have Found Another Victim of Serial Killer Henry Lee Lucas
The Bossier Parish sheriff's office believes a woman whose
decomposing body was found in 1981 was a victim of serial killer
Henry Lee Lucas. The problem is...they still have not ID'd the
victim. A new computer-assisted facial reconstruction has been done
by Mary Manhein of the LSU FACES lab, and they're hoping that will
help jog some tips loose.

Monroe Man Arrested For Sex Crimes with Three Children
A Monroe man has been booked for multiple sex crimes with three
juvenile girls. 43-year-old Darren L. Sanders is charged with
aggravated rape, sexual battery, molestation--and three counts of
intentional exposure to HIV. He reportedly told police he's been
HIV-positive since 1991.

NOLA Police: Don't Worry About Helicopters
New Orleans police says residents should not be alarmed if they see
helicopters flying around the city after dark. The department is
hosting military training in the city, and that includes the use of
military helicopters.

Essence Festival Highlights Announced
Organizers of the annual Essence Music Festival in New Orleans plan
to mark two milestones this year with their huge black culture &
music celebration. As well as observing the election of the nation's
first black President, Essence will also be celebrating its 15th
anniversary. Headliners this year include Beyonce, John Legend, Al
Green and dozens of others.

Northwest Louisiana Gets Surprise Snow
Snow fell this morning in Shreveport-Bossier. Even Nick Fillo of the
National Weather Service says it was a surprise:
The snow was patchy, light, and didn't accumulate much. Some
fender-benders were reported due to icy patches on the road, but no
widespread road closures.
